ABOUT COCOOME®
What makes cocoo-me® special?
All our slings and carriers are elastic, soft and cuddly – but still super stable. As a result, they adapt perfectly to your baby, offer an ergonomic position and optimum support at the same time. This special combination makes our carriers unique and particularly comfortable to wear.
Where are cocoo-me® products manufactured?
Our products are designed and developed in Austria and produced in Europe. Our production is located in Bulgaria, where we work in close cooperation with our local partners. Through regular visits, we ensure that our high standards in terms of quality, fair working conditions and sustainability are maintained. We attach great importance to transparent production processes and ethical manufacturing so that you can use our products with a good feeling.
What materials do we use?
We only use high-quality, sustainable materials. Our slings, baby carriers and pucksacks are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton – this means that the fabric is produced in an environmentally friendly and socially responsible way . For our woolwalk items, we use 100% natural new wool, which has a temperature-regulating effect and protects your baby in all weathers. Our new wool is also mulesing free, so you can be sure that it was obtained in an animal-friendly and ethical way.
Why is organic cotton better for babies?
The GOTS certification of the fabrics guarantees that the cotton was grown without harmful chemicals or pesticides. This is particularly important for babies’ sensitive skin. Our fabrics are also cuddly soft and particularly gentle – perfect for newborns and babies.
Are the stretchers and slings ergonomic?
Yes, we attach particular importance to this! Our carriers and slings were developed in close cooperation with midwives, babywearing consultants and physiotherapists. They support the rounded back, the spread-squat position and ensure healthy hip development.

How high are the shipping costs?
We offer free shipping within the EU for orders over €80.
For orders under 80 € we charge depending on the country. You can find detailed information here.
How long does shipping take?
Shipping from Austria by Austrian Post.
Austria: Delivery time approx. 2-3 working days
Germany: Delivery time approx. 2-5 working days

Can I return or exchange my order?
Yes, you can return or exchange your order within 14 days of receipt. The items must be unworn, unwashed and in their original packaging.

- Enclose the completed withdrawal form with your return so that we can quickly assign the return.
- After receiving and checking the return, we will refund the purchase amount (minus express shipping costs).
- Return costs are to be borne by the buyer, unless it is an error on our part.

What is the difference between a sling and a baby carrier?

Baby sling: Adapts perfectly to baby and carrier. It can be used with very small babies and grows with them for a long time. The soft, elastic yet sturdy material makes it particularly ergonomic and cozy – ideal for the postpartum period and a close bond.

Halfbuckle sling (Helium): A combination of sling and baby carrier. Pre-shaped with an ergonomic waist belt for better support and wide straps that can be tied. This makes it particularly easy to put on and combines the comfort of a sling with the simple handling of a baby carrier.
What is the right carrier/sling for me?
Choosing the right baby carrier or sling depends on your individual needs and preferences.
- Our elastic sling is suitable for very small babies as it fits perfectly to their body. It grows with your baby for a long time and therefore offers a particularly long service life.
- Our Helium Halfbuckle carrier combines the advantages of a sling with the ease of use of a baby carrier – ideal for parents looking for a quick and ergonomic solution.
- Our ring sling is a particularly practical and quick carrying option that is perfect for short distances or larger babies who like to be carried on the hip. It is easy to adjust and provides a natural feel.

What is the difference between the cocoo-me® Helium and the Helium by Hebamme Isabelle?

From when and up to what weight/size can I use the sling or baby carrier?
- Sling: Can be used from birth, up to max. 15 kg
- Helium: From approx. 3.2 kg (size 50/56) to 12 kg (size 80/86)
- Helium Isabelle: From approx. 3.5 kg to 15 kg
- Toddler: From size 86 to approx. 110 (max. 20 kg)
- Ring Sling: From birth up to 12 kg

I have a premature baby - what can I use?
Our preemie sling was specially developed for premature babies. It is particularly soft and stretchy to keep your baby safe and secure – ideal for extensive skin-to-skin contact.

Are there also products for small children?
Yes, we have special sizes for larger babies and toddlers (approx. from size 80/86):
- Helium Toddler – for toddlers who still like to be worn.
- Sling Toddler sling – a wider and even more stable version of our sling
What is the clip-in jacket extension and how do I use it?
The clip-in jacket extension makes your own jacket suitable for wearing and pregnancy:
- You simply attach them to your jacket with clips. It doesn’t matter whether your jacket has a zipper or buttons.
- The clip-in fits on every jacket.
- Interchangeable inserts – for winter and transitional seasons (both included)

Are there also B-goods or returned goods as good as new?
Yes, we offer both B-goods and returned goods in mint condition on request.

- B-goods: These products may have minor visual defects (e.g. minimal knitting faults), but are fully functional.
- Returned goods as good as new: These products have been returned by our customers but are completely unused and in perfect condition. Due to the return, they can no longer be sold as “new”.

How do I wash my cocoo-me® products properly?

Do I have to wash the stretcher before using it for the first time?
No, we do not recommend washing the baby carrier before first use. The cotton fabrics we use are GOTS-certified and are already free of harmful substances. Unnecessary washing can shorten the life of the carrier.

My stretcher does not fit perfectly - what can I do?
If you are unsure whether the carrier fits correctly, you can contact us at any time! We offer free online babywearing advice. Just send us an e-mail to trageberatung@cocoome.com with several photos from different angles so that we can help you specifically.
